Privacy contact
We are the “controller” of the personal information we use to operate our website, respond to enquiries, manage our relationships with members and customers, and market our services. This means we decide why and how that information is used.
This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request a resource, subscribe to updates, make an enquiry about speaking or other services, purchase from us, or participate in eSCHOOL.
It also covers related registration pages, forms and member services operated by Born To Be Brilliant Ltd that refer to this policy.
Additional information may be provided when a particular service or feature needs a more specific explanation.
The Sleep Nanny, operated by Dreamwork Consulting Ltd, is a separate business. This policy does not cover its services. We do not share your information with that business for its marketing or operations.
Where an eSCHOOL member uses GLO to manage their own customers’ information, the member is normally responsible for explaining that processing to their customers. Our role in processing that information on the member’s behalf is covered by the GLO Data Processing Addendum in the eSCHOOL membership terms.

Where optional tracking is enabled with the required permission, this may also include information about visits, interactions, referrals and advertising engagement.
Preferences and permissions
Your communication preferences, consent records, objections, unsubscribe requests and privacy-related correspondence.
Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information, such as medical details, unless we specifically request it through an appropriate process.
Most information comes directly from you.
We may also receive information from payment and technology providers when they process a transaction or support your use of our services.
If you contact us through a social media or messaging platform, we receive the information that platform makes available as part of your interaction.
An event organiser or someone acting on your behalf may provide your business contact details in connection with an enquiry or booking. Where required, we will explain the source and intended use when we contact you.
Responding to enquiries
We use contact details and correspondence to answer questions, discuss services and deal with requests.
Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, our basis is taking those steps at your request. For general enquiries or contact with someone representing a business, we rely on our legitimate interests in communicating and administering business relationships.
Delivering purchases and membership
We use the information needed to register you, provide access, deliver services, process payments, manage renewals and handle cancellations.
Our basis is performing our contract with you. Where the customer is an organisation and you are its representative, we rely on our legitimate interests in administering that organisation’s contract.
Sending requested resources and results
We use the details and answers needed to deliver a resource or assessment you request. We rely on performing the arrangement with you where it is contractual, or our legitimate interests in responding to your request.
Requesting a resource does not automatically sign you up to unrelated marketing.
Customer support and service administration
We use relevant account information and correspondence to resolve problems, send service messages and maintain service records.
We rely on performance of our contract where applicable, and our legitimate interests in providing effective support and administering our services.
Newsletters and promotional communications
We use your contact details and preferences to send marketing where you have consented, or where applicable law otherwise permits it.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Where we lawfully rely on legitimate interests, those interests are promoting our own relevant services, subject to your right to object and applicable electronic-marketing rules.
Security and misuse prevention
We use relevant technical, account and transaction information to protect our systems, investigate misuse and prevent fraud.
Our basis is our legitimate interests in protecting the business, our users and their information, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.
Service improvement
We may use support feedback and service-use information to understand problems and improve what we provide.
Our basis is our legitimate interests in maintaining useful, reliable services. Where this involves consent-based tracking, we obtain the necessary consent separately.
Legal and accounting requirements
We keep and use information needed for accounting, tax, regulatory obligations and responding to legally valid requests.
Our basis is compliance with legal obligations. For establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, we rely on our legitimate interests in protecting legal rights.
Testimonials and promotional recordings
We obtain your permission before publishing an identifiable testimonial or using an identifiable session contribution in public promotional material. We explain the intended use when seeking permission.
When relying on legitimate interests, we consider the effect on your rights and reasonable expectations. You can contact us for more information or to object.
If we need information to fulfil a contract or meet a legal obligation, we will explain this when asking for it. Without that information, we may be unable to provide the relevant service.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting [email protected].
For marketing through another channel, you can use the opt-out instructions provided or contact us.
Unsubscribing does not stop essential messages about an existing purchase, membership, payment, security issue or requested support.
We may keep a limited suppression record so that we can respect your request not to receive marketing.
We do not sell your personal information or provide your contact details to unrelated businesses for their own marketing.
Our website and related services may use cookies and similar technologies to operate features, maintain security, remember choices and, where enabled, measure usage or advertising performance.
Essential technologies
Some technologies are necessary to provide an online service you request, such as maintaining a login or supporting a checkout. These may operate without optional cookie consent where legally permitted.
Optional analytics and advertising
We may introduce tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand website activity, measure campaigns or show relevant advertising.
Naming these tools does not mean they are currently active on every page. Before introducing optional tools, we will provide information about the tools actually used, their purposes, providers and duration through our cookie information or consent controls.
Our approach is to obtain consent before activating optional analytics and advertising cookies or similar tracking. You can decline optional tracking and withdraw consent through the controls provided.
Advertising tools may allow their providers to associate activity on our website with a browser, device or account they recognise. We will explain the relevant processing before enabling it.
We will not treat consent to website cookies as permission to upload your contact details to advertising platforms for separate audience-matching purposes.
Embedded content and external platforms
Podcast players, videos, social media features and other external content may communicate with their providers when loaded or used. Where consent is required before loading a feature, we will request it.
Following an external link, such as to a podcast or messaging service, takes you to a service with its own privacy information.
Email tracking
If we introduce optional tracking of email opens or interactions, we will explain it and obtain consent where required before using it.
Browser settings can also restrict or delete cookies, although doing so may affect essential site functions.
We share information only where needed for the purposes described in this policy.
Our team and authorised contractors
Lucy and authorised team members or contractors may access information needed for administration, enquiries, support or other assigned duties. Access must be limited to their role and subject to confidentiality and appropriate contractual protections.
Technology providers
These include HighLevel, which supports our GLO platform and related website, customer-management and membership functions; Stripe for payment processing; and Zoom for online sessions and recordings.
Providers may use other suppliers to deliver their services. Their role depends on the service: some process information on our instructions, while others also act as controllers for their own legally defined purposes.
Professional advisers and authorities
Relevant information may be shared with accountants, legal advisers, insurers, regulators, courts or other authorities where necessary for professional advice, legal obligations or protecting legal rights.
Other members
Information you choose to share in a member community or recorded group session may be visible to other members as explained in section 10.
Business transfers
If the business is sold or reorganised, relevant information may be disclosed to advisers and a prospective or actual successor under appropriate confidentiality and data protection arrangements. We will provide any notice required by law.
Some suppliers operate outside the United Kingdom, so information may be stored or accessed overseas, including in the United States.
An authorised virtual assistant or contractor in the Philippines may access our enquiries and member-administration information where needed for their assigned work.
This does not give that contractor routine permission to inspect members’ customer information inside GLO accounts. Work requiring such access must be specifically authorised and arranged under the applicable support agreement and GLO Data Processing Addendum.
Before allowing a restricted international transfer, we must put an appropriate lawful arrangement in place. Depending on the recipient and service, this may involve an applicable UK adequacy arrangement or contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, together with the required assessment and additional protections.
We do not assume that confidentiality wording alone is sufficient for an international transfer.
You can contact [email protected] for details of the safeguards relevant to your information and to request a copy, with necessary redactions to protect confidential information.
We record group sessions to make them available to members who cannot attend and to provide an ongoing learning resource.
Our basis for ordinary session recording is our legitimate interests in delivering that learning resource. We consider participants’ privacy and provide notice before recording.
Your image, voice, displayed name, questions or chat contributions may be included if captured during the session. Recordings may be available to current and future members while retained in the member library.
You can keep your camera and microphone off. Contact us if you would like another way to submit a question or have concerns about an identifiable contribution. We will explain any other information captured by the particular session setup.
We obtain separate permission before using an identifiable contribution in public promotional material.
Recordings may remain useful for more than 12 months. We review their continued purpose and privacy impact and may remove or edit them, including where necessary to address a
